When you create an account, we collect your email address, chosen username, and encrypted password. We also store your timezone and currency preferences to display your budget data correctly.
You input expense categories, transaction amounts, and budget limits. We store this information to generate your spending reports and budget tracking features.
We track which features you use most, how often you log in, and where you might be having difficulties with the platform to improve our service.
We collect basic device information like browser type and screen size to ensure our budgeting tools work properly on your devices.
Your financial data powers the core features you rely on. We use your transaction information to categorize expenses, calculate budget remaining amounts, and generate spending trend reports. Without this data, we couldn't provide the budgeting insights you need.
We analyze usage patterns to identify common pain points. For example, if many users struggle with a particular feature, we redesign it. We never look at individual financial details during this process – we only examine aggregated, anonymous usage data.
We'll email you about important account changes, security updates, or new features that might help with your budgeting. You can opt out of feature announcements but will still receive critical security notifications.
What We Don't Do: We never sell your financial information to advertisers, share your spending habits with third parties for marketing purposes, or use your data to make credit decisions about you.
Your financial information deserves bank-level protection. We encrypt all data both when it travels between your device and our servers, and when it's stored in our databases. Even our own employees can't see your actual spending amounts – they only see encrypted codes.
We also monitor for suspicious activity. If someone tries to access your account from an unusual location or device, we'll temporarily lock it and send you an alert email.
You can download a complete copy of your account information and financial data at any time through your account settings. This includes all transactions, categories, and budget history in a readable format.
Found an error in your data? You can edit or delete any transaction, category, or account detail directly in the platform. Changes take effect immediately and update all related reports.
You can permanently delete your account from the settings page. This removes all your financial data, transaction history, and account information within 30 days. We'll send you a confirmation email before starting the deletion process.
Want to move to another budgeting service? We provide your data in common formats (CSV, JSON) that other platforms can typically import. No vendor lock-in – your data belongs to you.
Thailand Privacy Rights: Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act, you have additional rights including the ability to object to certain data processing and request human review of automated decisions.
We work with carefully selected partners to provide our budgeting service, but we never give them unnecessary access to your personal information.
Our cloud hosting provider stores encrypted copies of your data in secure facilities. Our email service handles account notifications. Our payment processor manages subscription billing but never sees your budgeting information. All partners sign strict data protection agreements.
We may share information if required by Thai law or to protect our users' safety. This might include responding to valid court orders or investigating suspected fraud. We'll notify you unless legally prohibited.
If VoltisPortalX is acquired or merges with another company, your data would transfer to the new owner under the same privacy protections. We'd notify all users at least 30 days before any such change.
While we're based in Thailand, some of our technical infrastructure operates in other countries to ensure fast, reliable service worldwide. Your data might be processed in servers located in Singapore, Japan, or the United States.
All international transfers follow strict security protocols. We only use providers that meet international data protection standards and have proper safeguards in place for cross-border data handling.
We keep your budgeting data for as long as your account remains active. This allows you to access historical spending patterns and long-term budget trends – valuable insights for financial planning.
If you don't log in for 24 months, we'll email you asking if you want to keep your account. No response after 60 days means we'll delete your financial data but keep basic account info for another 12 months in case you want to return.
Some information must be retained for tax or regulatory purposes. For example, subscription payment records are kept for 7 years as required by Thai accounting law, but this doesn't include your actual budgeting data.
Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before being permanently removed. This protects against accidental data loss but means deletion isn't always instant.
We use cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences like currency format and dashboard layout. These are essential for the platform to work properly.
We don't use advertising cookies or track you across other websites. Our analytics cookies help us understand which features are most useful, but they don't identify individual users.
You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser, though this might affect some convenience features like automatic login.
VoltisPortalX is designed for adults managing their own finances. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you're under 18 and interested in budgeting, please have a parent or guardian create an account and supervise your use.
If we discover that someone under 18 has created an account, we'll delete it promptly and notify the email address on file.
We review this privacy policy annually and update it when our practices change or new regulations take effect. Significant changes will be announced via email and a notice on your dashboard.
You'll have 30 days to review any major changes before they take effect. If you disagree with new terms, you can download your data and close your account during this period.
Minor updates like clarifying existing practices or fixing typos won't trigger notifications but will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above.
